Criteria for inclusion of volunteers
To participate in the SEPAGES cohort, women had to be over 18 years of age, have medical insurance (French or foreign), be pregnant less than 19 gestational weeks, have a singleton pregnancy (no twins), reside in Isère within one hour of Grenoble, have no plans to leave the inclusion zone in the next two years, and choose to give birth in one of the four maternity clinics in Grenoble (Clinique Belledonne, Clinique des Cedres, Clinique du Groupe Hospitalier Mutualiste, or the Hôpital Couple Enfant). If the partner was over 18 and had medical insurance, he could be included once the mother was included.
